Who We Are

We are husband and wife team, Matt and Jackie Kaiser, and the principles of American Homecraft.  In the building business since 1984, we specialize in custom home building, residential renovation and light commerical construction.  

We work directly with our clients from our first meeting to moving day and beyond.  We strive to develop a close working relationship in order to best understand the homeowner's needs and wants.  You won't be passed off to a job supervisor once you've signed the contract!  A hands on builder, Matt personally supervises the construction of each and every project.  Jackie’s focus is to ensure a smooth and enjoyable building experience for the client from design work to scheduling.  With a background in cabinet making, a private mill shop and a talented team of professionals, American Homecraft is known for skilled craftsmanship, attention to details and superior construction practices. 

Our work has been featured in Homearama 2004 and House Trends magazine.  We were honored to be named finalists in the Dayton Business Journals Superstar Real Estate Award.  We have worked closely with Children's Medical Center on The Children's Miracle House projects.  As the builder, we collected a team of subcontractors and suppliers to donate their time, talents and materials to construct a home that, when sold, all proceeds would benefit The Children's Medical Center of Dayton.  The Children's Miracle House projects generated a hospital donation of over $102,000!
